I haven't found weather cold enough (yet) to warrant more than my Fjol XL, but it's going to be a well built piece of kit. That much I know. My camo Borg fund may end up being used for one of these in the meantime.
Oooh, shiney! What does THIS button do?

Wonder what the R value is? Have they got the weights reversed for the oz? Gms looks right, but oz?

Stated r value is 5... but yeah, looks like the weight in oz. is flipped, being as it would make the xl pad lighter than its smaller sibling

I'm guessing they've fixed it because the weights look right to me.

    LW: 29oz
    XL: 33oz

What's interesting is that the weights on the R5 pad look lower than the weights on the normal 3-season Fjøl (R3).

The regular version is 32oz for the LW and 35.8oz for the XL.

The R3 and R5 versions also have all the same dimensions, including thickness, so they must have more or better insulation in the Winterlight version.

Sorry to intrude here, but you are quite right! the Winterlight is a bit lighter than our 3 season Fjøl XL

We have put in a lot more insulation in the Winterlight, but the outer material is thinner and lighter compared to the 3 season Fjøl.
Together this result in some savings on weight.

Thanks for discussing our products, much appreciated.

    Best regards

LOL! This is crazy, because I am looking at the video as I type, and it still shows, under the 78" LW a weight of 33 oz(830gm) and under the 87" long XL weighs 29 oz(940gm). The gm heavier weight appears to be under the longer pad as expected, but the oz appear to be reversed. I'm starting to wonder if there is something wrong with my eyes.

No matter for me, I know what they mean.

I'm thinking an LW would still be long enough for 6'1"? Especially as I can add a pillow. Opinions?

Hey Didrik, thanks for jumping in here! Do you happen to know the R value of these new pads? At 3.5" thick and insulated, I know they are going to be way warm!
