First off I want to say thanks this forum for all of the helpful info I've found here! I've been reading posts here for quite a while but just now joined. I found it after watching Shug's awesome and informative videos on youtube. Thank you sir!
I'm a long time backpacker/tent camper who converted to hammock camping over the last year or so. I've been out maybe 20 nights or so in hammocks and it would be pretty tough to go back to a tent. In fact, if a trip required tenting I'd probably opt for a different one at this point :-)
I'm an east-coaster...I spend a lot of time in PA and NY but I do get out to WY and MT every now and then. Most of my trips involve fly fishing...I either plan the whole trip around it or at least incorporate it to some degree if I can.
