Maybe Tenacious Tape? Ive used some on my silpoly and silnylon tarp and it seems to hold fine.

Thanks. I forgot that they make much larger/metal versions. I have the much smaller plastic ones.

I love these things... find all kinds of uses for them.

I tried some older Tenacious Tape for a repair on my GG Murmur (silnylon) and for me it did not hold. I have not yet tried the new stuff... link to actual product. I plan to pick up some next time I'm at REI.

This was not yet available when I did the repair to my Murmur. I did a fugly job with a swatch of silnylon material and the liquid silicone goo. No worries, doesn't affect the function one little bit.
