    SC/NC backpack - last minute - FHT/Bartram

    Anybody want to join?
I’m looking at a trip this Sunday-Tuesday Jan 26-28.. roughly 25-30 miles. Or you can do one day and bail half way.

Starting at Oconee SP.. Foothills trail to Chattooga River trail. Camp somewhere along the CRT. Day 2 goes downstream on the CRT past Russell Bridge (Parking) and connects you the Bartram trail. Continue south to maybe Dicks Creek Falls and camp. Not sure on where camping will be. Day 3 is back to Russell Bridge - maybe on the Bartram or maybe explore some side trails - not sure.
Temps 50s to 30s. No rain - knock on wood.
Elevation is following a river so no big mountains but some rolling ups and downs.

    Anyway let me know.

I'd be all over it, but I'm doing Standing Indian Loop starting tomorrow-Sun. Thanks for your video, BTW. I've used it and others to help plan. Looks like I'm starting wet, then getting cold. You should have good weather.

Y’all have a good time on your hikes. Sounds like some good ones.

Bumping this thread one more time.... weather is holding and looks good.

I see there is a Wilis Knob horse trail that parallels the Bartram in GA. I may check some of that out depending on how it all goes.

If nobody else joins, Lacey the beagle and I know how to lollygag around by ourselves pretty well.
