    Fracket now available at Dutchware

We made an ultralight jacket for back packing that I think you will find very interesting and you will be saying, why didn't I think of that. It is meant to quickly be able to put it on and take it off while hiking and you don't even need to take off your backpack. It has a hip belt and you keep it on your hip throughout the day. But when you need a little extra warmth and or wind protection, you can quickly put this on without taking off your pack. It is made from ARGON 90 which has a quality DWR on it so it will shed light rain, sleet and snow. The sleeves are long but there are one handed cinches on them. The most amazing part is the weight. With the hip belt and stuff sack, it comes in at only 2.25 ounces for a sm/medium and 2.5 ounces for the LG/XLG. It comes in three colors, Moroccan Blue, Ti Grey, and Dark Olive. Each one is laser cut and made right here at Dutchware by me, my friends, and family. These would also be a great jacket for bycicling as you will still be able to reach your torso pockets. We are knocking $10 off for the next 3 days only. Made by Dutchware and of course Made in the USA

The Fracket was designed by hikers for hikers.

This has to be the weirdest thing you've made yet by a good margin.

    Nicely done, Dutch. And team.

Why didn't I think of that... with a hoody instead of stretchy line thingy. Not to protect my delicate hair, but to keep the misty rain out of my glasses.
Enjoy and have fun with your family, before they have fun without you

LOL!! This is unique. I often start the day hiking with just my goto hiking shirt, assuming I'll warm up. But often I don't and just kinda suffer thru it. I never want to put another layer on because it would be too much. I considered a wind shirt, but I dunno. This may actually be the ticket!!!

I get the name of the product but it sounds a lot like fracking in Pennsylvania! Looks perfect for bike packing.

That is a super cool idea! Gonna need a bit to figure out if it can replace something else I am bringing right now but definitely makes the list of stuff I would want.

I forget which company made something similar years ago - the lack of front zipper will lead to excessive heat buildup, I'm afraid.

I love seeing the envelope being pushed!
