Hammock Newbie Donating Free Tree Straps! While supplies last! (sorry no delivery available)

Currently residing in Greensboro, NC. I'm a newbie hanger who recently tried out a Warbonnetc BB xlc on Cold Mountain. I'm not sending it back! Had a wonderful time hiking the Art Loeb Trail (from Daniel Boone BSCofA trailhead).

Yesterday I left a free pair of Warbonnet tree hugger straps and one (1) hand-made toggle to first person to get them. (My brain was frozen.) "Camp 2" circled: Camp 2.png

While in the Wayne National Forest in early November a friend left his pack hanger on the tree in camp. Sunday 1-19-2020 I stopped by the camp site we stayed at and it was still there. I've left my tarp ridgeline at Dolly Sods. On the flip side I have found various carbines, Loop alien, #9 tensioner knives, a leatherman skeletool, 100' of paracord, another friend found 50' of reflective guyline, and countless tent stakes, among other things.

Thanks TallPaul - no impact to us; it was last camp on the way out. I hope someone takes them down though so they don't hurt the trees! I bought a pair of white straps from Dutchware to replace @$25. The map set is NatGeo Trails Illustrated. I love it. It's one of several NatGeo sets included in Gaia's premium subscription which I got at discount ($32/yr vs $40) via https://www.gaiagps.com/adventure_alan/

Thank you Mr Emery! After many years stalking your channel - you can let Warbonnet know you finally made a convert out of this tent camper. What a great way to sleep in the woods. WeensieJuan approved.

Good way to think about it. I wasn't too torn up about losing them other than the "Oh **** I left-a-trace" thing. I hope someone gets them and puts them to good use. So far all I've ever found is cans, candy wrappers and torn pieces of shock cord!

Thanks. He definitely wasn't a fan of leaving the hammock in the mornings.
100%, ultra-rare racing Chihuahua. (Perhaps a mix of whippet and something smaller I think).
