    Shipping alternatives?

$15 to ship a piece of cuben fiber, ten linelocs and some Dutch Wire.. Lancaster to NY?

That's got to be a mistake...
Yes, my pack weighs 70lbs, but it's all light weight gear....

Sounds like that all could have been fit in a flat rate USPS box for about 6 bucks

They really need to look into other shipping alternatives

Why not contact Dutch directly rather than post here were we can't do a lot to help?
As a test I added a yard of green Dynemia, 10 Line Locs, and 25 feet of Dutch Cord and the shipping started at $4.28 to Huntsville Alabama.

I know on my last order it gave some crazy price to ship at first. I went back and logged in and then went back through checkout process and it gave me a better price. From 15 to about 5 bucks.

You can always look for a different source.

I've seen others report this before and Dutch straightened it out but I'd try again as it's not showing anywhere near this to Alabama.

He might be able to adjust it, but I've always found them to have exorbitant shipping charges. Ie., $4.95 shipping on $5 for 2 dutch hooks @ .8grams. ;-)

It's Sunday.. I need to gather a few bits. An email to DWG via the website would take too long.
    You've all helped.. thank you.

Either two things happened. Either you checked and didn't enter a zip code or usps website had a communication error. When either of those happen it defaults to $15.we go to great lengths to make it so you pay the actual shipping charge. When you place an order, my site contacts usps and if all the info is there, they put on the actual charge. I bet if you try again you will see that.
