    You should try shipping in Canada. Anything over 3/4" thick has to go parcel, really hurts to ship lightweight bulky stuff. I'm always pleased to see how reasonable the charges are from the cottage manufacturers.

    My wife ships a lot of stuff for her ebay business and has mentioned the post office has changed the way it does shipping. Off the top of my head I can’t remember the specifics but I do remember it seemed rather ridiculous. I can ask her when she gets home today.
