The size and organization and the FOOD at this Hang always amazes me.
Hope to make it someday but I'm always doing a big show in Lakeland the week after and it is nice to get some Florida-No-Snow time.

The outdoors kitchen is a wonder to behold with propane fuel and charcoal everywhere. The cast iron is plentiful in Dutch Ovens and skillets all working hard. And the pots, oh those lovely cauldron sized pots filled with glory.

This new location for HangCon is also spectacular with 90% canopy coverage. The field we use for parking is the only true open space. It's quite beautiful with hammocks everywhere.

Of course you know you have an open invitation. Just get a hold of one of us and we'll help you with logistics.
Enjoy and have fun with your family, before they have fun without you

Hard to fly and do a Hang and then go straight to a gig. Too much to fly with. Flying my show takes 3 cases.
They are just too close together at this time.

You could always have your gear shipped to the host . That and extra gear is almost always available.

That didn't work so well for Dutch last year. I felt so badly for him.

Dutch hadn’t pre planned shipping his gear. His Vegas trip turned into a business proposal that kept him from going home to get his gear. As I recall he flew to Florida from Vegas and had someone ship his gear down which probably didn’t give enough time for it to get there.

He sent his gear to me at my office from his office. It took over a week to get to my office. I came to my office waiting on the mail on Thursday and Friday. I checked again on Saturday while in town for a funeral before I went back to HangCon. It finally came the following week after HangCon was over and I went back to work.

There was a lot of communication beforehand. Unfortunately it was a bad experience that would probably not have happened any other time except when it mattered most. That Murphy character will jump up and bite you when you least expect it too.

YooperWisdom, great pics. If you're still in town, there is the Sherpa Hang next weekend close to the site for HangCon.

Keep the pics coming yall. I know there were a lot of folk taking pictures and some video. Anyone heard from Rebel? He was shooting a lot of both pics and vids.
