So we have been pushing the limits of how small to make hardware for a long time. The Dutch Hook, and the different worms are absolutely tiny. Smaller is lighter, but the challenge is they can be difficult to hold. This winter reminded me once again about this as I had to take off my gloves to work my hardware. Many people prefer the Stingerz over the Flyz no just because you can clip them on but because you can hold them easier. So I too that concept and designed the ring worm. They have a perfectly sized ring makes them super easy to grasp while you are working with them yet the ring hardly adds any weight. We also put a cinch point much like our other hardware which really worked well. The more pressure that gets put on the line the tighter it cinches, yet it pulls out with just a tug. I am making these for tie outs but I am testing them for other tie down points. Best part is they weigh just about a half a gram each. They come as hardware only, hardware with shock cord loop, or spliced on Zint it, Lash it, or reflect it. It is designed to work with single braid 1.75 mm line like Zing it. These are made by Dutchware and of course, Made in the USA.
