Eldorado and Blackbird XLC interchangeability

I had a BB XLC a while ago and really enjoyed it. I recently got the new Eldorado but found that I really miss the shelf from the XLC.

My question is: Are the netting and top covers interchangeable between the XLC and Eldorado? Can I just buy a XLC net and zip it to the Eldorado to make it a XLC?

Yup, but there was an older version of XLC (gen 1.0) that would need to be excluded because they used a different zipper part then. The Eldorado came out after the XLC 2.0, so it got the same reversible zippers.
