It would seem the website is not fully functional. The FAQ states they use cuben fiber for their products.
I may be slow... But I sure am gimpy.

hmmmmm??? Cuben fiber is a very light, strong, waterproof, non-breathable material that benefits many applications. this is on their FAQ.

Their front page says "<insert youtube video here>" but I got no results on a youtube search for "sparrow hammock" either.

    Sparrow Hammock

    Hello everyone,

My name is Larry and I am the owner of SparrowHammock.com. Per your request for me to come on here and field some information, here I am. Sparrow Hammock is my pet project energized by the experiences and knowledge I have accrued over a number of years backpacking and utilizing different shelter/backpacking setups. I decided to produce cuben fiber hammocks because of the benefits of cuben fiber, my personal experiences hammock camping, and dislike for the unnecessary weight in general. The industry has come a long way over the years and I saw the opportuntiy to offer a product that has generated a great deal of interest.

Currently, I build every item one at time, myself. You may have noticed on the site, SparrowHammock.com, that there is a three week wait for delivery of products. This is due to the fact that I produce each item on a needed basis and currently am producing items for friends and fellow hammockers. I will open the site up to the public soon, it is currently under construction.

I have frequented hammock forums for some time now, having never joined myself for no specific reason. Probably due to the fact that I am always on the move with grad school and work. You can see other backpacking related content on Youtube under "Steffler69" if you would like to get a better understanding of my background. I look forward to speaking to many of you and perhaps attending a hammockforums hang.

    Cheers,

    Lawrence Steffes
    CEO, SparrowHammock.com, LLC
