Yea, after Phantom gets through eating his normal hot peppers and then eating chili..the toilet will probably be "smoking" without the help of the stove.

I watched Canoe Hounds Outdoor Adventure Show on YouTube. It was a live chat. Featuring Shug and his wonderful stories. MrPickl was outstanding in his answers to live call in questions. You can still watch it on YouTube!
A bearded camper, wildlife instructor, rounded out the panel with good observations and down to earth stories.
They had a contest, giving away some Shug Swag and Dave Moose entered and won! I think this is our one and only Mooseman!

I got some shirts4prizes. T-shirts are pictures of my Granddaughter standing up in hammock!
    The shirt2have is a Hickery Brothers T-shirt...a collector’s dream!
Possible short hike on Uwharrie Trail after breakfast Saturday morning depending on weather and if I improve my perfect 3 and 0 record in “Purdy Boil” contest.
Dyslexia has done wonders for my self esteem...
After Tour of Hammocks, prizes will be awarded for:

Least amount of hardware in your entire campsite

Best group campsite, with two or more hammocks

Fastest knots untie. Using a 2 straps Tied to trees and joined by amsteel
Judge will weight the line to set knots and be sure knots don’t slip and lower Judge to ground—automatic DQ
On judge’s signal contestants untie their knots. Can you tie knots that don’t slip and don’t jam?!?!?
No hardware allowed except toggle—as in marlin spike hitch. No use of sewn or premade loops!

I will be entering “Purdy Boil” contest—watchout Peeeeetey and Hickery and all other coffee drinkers!
I will not enter the other contests...in spirit of Yates camaraderie.
Although I might exhibit some of my skills in knot untie contest...just to show you how it’s done.
Sooner or later, you gonna want to join a strap and amsteel, maybe strap or amsteel is borrowed and the lender will want their stuff back in morning unscathed. For those who’s knots jam...you can show off your mastery of foreign tongues!

Question? Do we have to tie our own knots and are we restricted to amsteal?

Another question? Are we restricted on type of “Purdy Boil” sauce? Just FYI, I taint got nair “Ugly Boil” sauce!

Another, another question? If I see someone has a better setup then me and I want it, can I take it?

Ooh Ooh, Mr. Carter, Mr. Carter......if Horseshack wears bell bottom corduroys, will he get more points than I?

PG Glad you are back. I know a lot of stuff but your knots really confuse me. Let's talk CHILI. I can relate to that. I tie any knot that holds. They may or may knot have a name. I just know that they hold. If all else fails I have a knife as far as untying. However we will go alcohol to alcohol.

Peeeeetey, I’m looking forward to camping with you and Deborah this spring.
I’m still adjusting my underquilts and might get some help Thursday. Knots confuse lots of people, that’s why God made hardware. It’s all good, choose what knots work for you.
I hope the weather is pleasant. I counted about 39 hammockers, with some guesses about wives kids and friends. With good weather (no rain and night temperatures no lower than 30),we can see 36 campers...with rain and or cold maybe 20 campers.
    Yates is calling you!
