I hope my forays into chili construction are pleasant tasting and good enough to want seconds. I hardly ever cook, so I’ll be in Phantom guess mode.
Right now, I’m conking out at Heartthrob Hang. Been talking with friends, it began to drizzle, off and on, I was tarred from going2bed2late last night. Most everyone is still at caveman tv. Until tomorrow I sleep...
Weather permitting, Thursday go on short mile backpacking campout on trail. Returning to Yates B4 lunch Friday!

Just mentioned to the wife I was planning to take the turkey fryer and pot to heat water and she said why not take the turkey and fry it? We have a 13-15 lb turkey we picked during the turkey day sales that didn't get used, been in the freezer this whole time. So instead of a big pot of spaghetti and meatballs, I'll make a big pot of turkey instead. My wife usually does a butter injection and a salt and pepper rub to season it, simple enough that I think even I can get that right.

I'm planning to make pork belly bites, like burnt ends, over pecan and cherry. The brisket is going to be smoked with mesquite and cherry. I'm already drooling

It's a long walk to the bank. Was trying to grow interest but the cat kept knocking it off the table. Went in on the 27th.
