I'll also be bringing my 2-burner Coleman w/ extra fuel bottles. As for Saturday's hot dog fest dinner theme, thinking about making up a batch of NY System hot wieners. I have the recipe for the sauce and the correct wieners to use. First com-first serve. Won't have enough for everyone but willing to share a whole bunch of them. Bringing a little bit of RI to NC! If you've never heard of them it's basically a specially made wiener on a bun, layer of mustard, layer of meat sauce, chopped onions & celery salt. In RI we call them "gaggas." Just walk up to me and say "Give me two all the way!"

Would it be helpful if I brought a turkey fryer burner and large pot for heating water for cleaning?

tsshaw78 is too hard to say on the trail - Just call me Shaw.
Glad to hear the trip went well overall. Sorry to hear you picked up a virus. There's one that's been going around Raleigh/Durham so hard that one of the local high schools actually shut down for 2-3 days just to try and curb it.
I'll be interested to hear about what you've got planned that is 40 miles this October.
Slugger, your RI “gaggas” dogs, this I gotta see.

Nature's peace will flow into you as sunshine flows into trees.
The winds will blow their own freshness into you, and the storms their energy,

Holding out a small hope that I will be able to come to Saturday afternoon and dinner at the hang.
