    Hi,
New member (and hanger) here. I'd just found this thread, and would certainly like to participate in this hang.
    Is this still a go?

I just saw on another thread that Meadowbrook is opening on July 1, so there's a chance this hang will make it. As long as we take it easy with the gettin' back to business business!

I may play with my chainsaw and make some Swedish Torches for the fire ring this year.

I was able to talk to an employee on the phone, at Meadowbrook, and book a site for the weekend of 7/17.

Just wanted to know if the organizers, of the Sept hang, is still planning to hold the event.

Tom and I will do our best to make this happen! Hopefully the hammock camping gods keeps us all safe, and lets us go out and play with our friends again. With several great hangs already cancelled, most folks NEED a gathering for sanity. This quarantine has overstayed it's welcome like a 2nd cousin that won't get a job and move out of the attic.

Thanks. Looking forward to this. It should be interesting as we probably will not have a vaccine by then. I can't imagine the fire ring with everyone six feet apart. I don't know if my wife will be joining us this year but if she does, I'll bring the trailer again. I've been playing with my chainsaw lately and made some swedish torches. I still have a few logs left over from storm damage and might make a couple for the hang.

Ugh. I will be getting ready for a deployment, so I can’t make it. The wife may still try, though. We had a blast last year.
