    Roughly 4.5 miles depending on which trail you take. Personally, I usually stick to the VHT up to the horse gate then follow the AT from there. It doesn't really cut out anything but rough and rocky trail. Views are better on the VHT too.

    After meeting some great folks and having a great time for my first winter hang last year I was hoping to go again this year, but work has other plans. Oh well there is always next year.

    May not make it to this one. Still in the air. I'm at mom and dad's in LA because dad had a stroke. Waiting to see how bad it is. IF I head that way I'll let yall know.

    Maybe it is just wishful thinking but my weather app is showing snow for right at the Group camp location. Not forecasting much accumulation but snow is better than rain. Of course it is also calling for winds only up to about 13 mph and that would just be weird for Grayson so it may be WAY off....fingers crossed though!
