    I think it's broke.

Just for the heck of it, I got out a Mount Rogers Area map to remind myself of the approximant elevation changes.

    Park entrance/ Hwy 58... 3700
    Ranger Station...…………….3800
    Camp ground...……………….4300
    Wilburn Ridge...……………...5500

Several times I've been there when there was snow at the campground and as you traveled down toward the road, the snow/ ice lessened and driving conditions improved.

But it can be tricky at times.
Oh Heavens to Murder Troy! Jim Cantori and the Weather Channel. Could be bad news if he shows up to check the weather on the mountain.

Wonder where they get their weather from as there is no other station at the Park, unless of course Weather Underground has a local station at the Visitor Center??

    Rockdawg rocks

I’m practicing alcohol fuel stoves with 16 ounces or 16.9 ounces water
This is probably a good size

If I were to use 8 ounces of water, you would see time go backwards...

The last time I tried to attend, the ranger told me I could not enter the park due to weather. He said you guys all left and some went to Hot Springs. This was during that crazy winter "blizzard" a few years ago. Still had a blast and it was great to meet everyone that did get down to HS. Attached are a few pics and a short video of me leaving two days after the storm.

I will add my name to the spreadsheet (mislabeled). Y'all better be there this time

Looks like we will have normal temperatures, neither hot nor extremely cold
    A good break for us

After I whoop y’all in “Purdy Boil” contest,
I’ll cook up a few mini breakfast steaks to share with all “Purdy Boil” contestants

    This gonna change your life
We need more alcohol stove aficionados...
I’ll be mortally wounded if either Peeeeetey or Hickery place first
I won’t be able to stand their bragging...
As you know Phantom, if anything, is humble
