OF course you are required to attend. Carol and I have a really nice parking lot at the homestead (just NORTH of the New
Hope Segment of the Age Age Trail sign on HWY T north of MM and east of the Lutheran church). then pulk east across the field, then up to da shack.. We even have some hang sites picked out for you and all...
ANY questions ...715-572-5342 is me and CAL is 715-347-4715. We'll leave da light on for you...
    T

Cell phone reception at "Da Shack" is temperamental, so plan ahead. We'll guide you in.

    WEATHER REPORT according to wifey.
High Thursday is 8. Low Thursday night is minus 15. High Friday is 12. Low Friday is 5. Saturday is GREAT, 28 and 15...Monday is 34 and wintry mix - trail killers.

CAL loved the trails to the hump, bridge, pine plantation, made last year. Hopefully can do it again.

There are two sleeping bags in my truck (rated at 15 degrees each). If you want to use them, then you need to hump them up to da shack. First come = first warmed. There is my old green bag already up stairs.
    Keep the fire going...

Hi, T here. Crashing in da shack = OK. Sleeps 6 easily enough. I have one sleeping bag up stairs at da shack. There are two sleeping bags (15 degree rating) in my truck if you want to use them then you need to hump them up to da shack.
    Keep the fire burning...
    T...

Could always use another old wool blanket or three. This is a free gift to da shack idea.

We will need to hump in some water. There are two (five gallon) pails in my truck for some younger pulker.
Of course the truck is at the homestead.

Contacted a plow truck who attempted to get in the trail along the field. Could not go more than about 4 truck lengths before hitting the drifts. No go...
Also attempted to bust through the driveway into the homestead lawn. Vallient efforts failed and got stuck a few more times. I ended up pulling him back out onto highway T using my plow-less 4x4.

Still exploring other options. Farm tractor and bucket was also a no go...

Waiting to hear back from a construction company end-loader. Carol and I are snowshoeing ( pulk sledding) (trail break-ing) from the homestead to da shack. 20 minutes one way. Of course the trip out is with the load, and uphill.
THIS IS OLD NEWS, and should be ignored. Park at the homestead
