    Ok its official I booked our flight today. We get into Wisconsin on the evening of the 13th and we fly back to Denver on monday morning. Very excited to hang out with all of you again.

    Flying sure beats that loooong drive, especially during the winter. Hope we have plenty of snow then, but not enough to mess with flights.

    We are flying into Madison it look to be closer to the shack than the other airports maybe a 2 hour drive?

    I was able to get the time off, will bring braised collards with smoked turkey.

    What beverage do you suggest pairing with such victuals?

    Also, a question for Tumbleweed: How much snow do you have on the ground right now? Looks like some extra inches are in the forecast for the days preceding the hang.

    Hi all, Just got back from Florida.
    7 to 10 inches of older crusty snow, with some wind-blown areas, both thinner and some snowdrifts. Plan to park at the homestead on highway T (north of MM) and hike/pulk up to da shack.
    A few inches of fresh snow expected Sunday.
    Will know more tomorrow (Friday).

    Anything, but beer and iced tea are the preferred choices of Southerners, where this dish originated.
