    Awesome!

With the kids getting older and losing interests in camping, it's been a few years since I've last been out. So, I'm now really looking forward to this jamboree.
As I'd stated, I'm new to hammocking, but have been really getting into it. I've got a $30 Amazon hammock hanging full time under the deck since the beginning of May, and have spent many hours just lounging around in it. I also have a 9' hammock that I take along, and use on my day hikes. I'm not sure if I'm hooked, but I'm certainly smitten by this hammock recreation.
With the hospital volume picking back up again, I'm not sure at this point, if I'll be able to make the 1st half of the day on Friday 7/17. Regardless, I'll be there by the evening hours.

Most folks can't get there until Friday afternoon and people will be trickling in on into the evening. You won't miss anything.

    Cool!

Since it's in mid July, is a lightweight UQ necessary?

My name is Dinh, and I'm a newb to this hammock thing and would love to hang with other hangers. Looking to learn from more experienced hammockers. I'm for Pelham, NH, and work in the Boston area.

May I share a site with someone and split the fee?

That's how I got started. I came to this hang with my cheap walmart hammock and everyone helped me make the best of it. If you want to try out other gear, just ask. Most of us are happy to let you try their gear. Oh, and come hungry, we are an eating club that sleeps in hammocks.

We've had nights in the 80's and 90's with no air moving and the inventive hangers created bucket ac units.
Or... it could be in the 60's and get breezy at 2am.
Best to be prepared. But as others have said, if you ever need to borrow gear this group will have you covered.

FYI for the n00bz... the pond is both swimmable and fishable. Bring trunks and gear iff'n you want.

And an FYI in general: I'm still in the air over coming. It'z a two day drive for me each way. It will be last minute, and both weather and quarantine based. We still mask, socially distance ourselves with a katana, and only come off the mountain for groceries once weekly

Dang, that looks like a Bob Ross painting. Beautiful!

Are kayaks allowed in the pond?
