    2020 Arkansas Hang (March 12 - 15)

We have not had an Arkansas Hang for several years and this year I want to get one up for anyone interested. We are going to have it where it all started many years ago at Kyles Landing on the Buffalo River on March 12 - 15. This is family friendly and all are welcome whether you hang a hammock or not. There are hiking trails and canoe/kayaking on the Buffalo River with Outfitters that rent boats. I will have setup a smokehouse with stove and the DHT (Dual hammock Tarp) for 2 trees.
Below is the info and directions for anyone interested in going.
OH,, almost forgot... Potluck Saturday evening... I'm taking a dutch oven.
    Hope to see your there

Thanks! Always wanted to visit that area. What is the "average" weather and temps during that time of year? *Understand it would be an educated guess.. won't hold you to it..lol

That time of year, temps range. Could be in the 70's to 40's F or lower. could be very nice, rain and sometimes snow... weather is crazy that time of year.
It is a very nice area with lots of water falls. There is a 35ft waterfall in a cave not to far from camp.

Hey Mike! Glad to see this hang back on the books and returning to its roots.

Kyle's Landing is a great place. I have some fond memories from good times there and some great folks met. (Cindy and I are still loving our Honeymoon Suite tarp.)

As Murphy would plan things, this year won't work for us. I have separate commitments already on the calendar for each day so I'll look forward to the pics and the "you shoulda been there" conversations.

    Have a great hang!

Looking back to last year to reminisce and forward to post Covid-19 hangs in 2021
