Appears to be GREAT. Not cold enough to push her - only 20* but nice and warm. Might be just a bit short though. I skimped a bit and made it 62" and that might be a tad short but seemed ok.

Side sleeping did create a gap but when I tossed the other direction it seemed ok so maybe not. Closer to 0* will tell though.

Thanks for your help by the way. I like how the shape formed to my body. I think it snugged it up to me pretty well.

Yeah - was a fun project (I can say that now that it is over )
Looking forward to more tests with her

This is a great thread! Thank you for posting! I have been toying with the idea of making a synthetic UQ myself. I have two questions for you: How much does it weigh, and how small does it pack down to?

I have to apologize - I don't the answer to either. Let me weigh tonight. In terms of packing that may have to wait a bit. But this thing is thick and heavy for sure. I had to re-do the suspension because it was too heavy.

All right it's 999 grams - If my math is right that means it's about 35 oz. some way it's going to go down because there's more shock cord on it than I need but not much I'm going to say it's probably about 34 oz
