once they are gone they are gone for good
    Thanks, that's a great deal.

I'm in the UK so it's not that economical importing from the US with TAXES and Delivery being so prohibitive. I have other means of getting US gear but I can't abuse that service. I have a couple of loaner tarps but none with doors, and due to the weather here doors can often be useful. I also have some female friends/acquaintance that might be interested, and the additional privacy would probably help them have a positive experience (based on past comments privacy is an issue).

I almost elusively use my Journey just to have the option of doors when I need them, which is the case more often than I would like.

    Is this a thing?

I have a Journey II that I got when they were clearing them out and it has a similar (not identical) label. I've used it a few times and it's been a good tarp (once I seam-sealed the pull outs), although some of the stitching on one of the ridgeline tie outs is kind of ugly. It's also a tad heavier than the US made Journey (mine is about 18 ounces).

    That's great info thanks.

I don't have a problem with having to seal the seams, and I don't think ugly stitching would bother me given the intended use, even the extra weight wouldn't be a deal breaker.

Is the RL 11' or 12'? How rugged would you say it is...do you think it has the potential to last as well as the US made Journey?

It's the 11'. I don't have a US made version for comparison, and I've only used it a handful of times, but I would say it seems pretty durable.

Thanks again you have really helped me fill in the remaining blanks.

And a big thanks to all the contributors in the thread who helped solve this puzzle.

We experimented with having tarps produced overseas, and they just didn't meet our standards. All of our tarps are made in the USA

Thanks so much for everyone helping out the OP. As always, we will continue to make our "bread and butter" items here in the USA. This includes all of our quilts, tarps, and hammocks. Some accessories we do have built overseas, but we do mark those on the website as imported products to provide clarity to all. If anyone ever has any questions about a product, definitely reach out to us.

People got all riled up when Enlightened Equipment did some overseas. I don't mind, unless I'm being lied to, which wasn't the case.

Love my HG quilts, and the HG daypack made in China is great too.
