Donating member status has been open for this month but with little response. Curious as to how most members navigate and use the forum.

I almost exclusively use the new posts link. However I work online so I'm on most of the day unless I'm off on a trip or out in the woods so even if I'm out a week or so it doesn't take that long to catch up using that method. I almost never browse by forum so honestly I never even notice which forum a thread is originating from unless it's obviously like the for sale forum etc.
Once you're lost in twilight's blue, you don't find your way, the way finds you.
I go to the main forum page and scroll through, clicking on whatever posts interest me. I check the trip planning forum most, especially when there's a hang coming up or I've posted one. Rarely log on unless I have a worthwhile response to a post, I don't post just to increase my count.
I have tried to access quite a few threads, but only had success on the womens threads. Many have told me that it was no available
I almost always use New Posts. Occasionally I go to Forums, then the subforum, etc. but it’s rare.
New Posts user here too.
I use a shortcut link to the For Sale section and then use new posts and then check local hangs in Midwest section.
Get lost in the woods and find yourself again. A vacation,to me, is working with your hands and surviving because of the fruits of your labor. In the business world I teach;in the natural world I learn.
I don't have a normal routine per se - on line I sometimes I hit the new post tab, or sometimes I check out my activity page and see what's been posted by those I follow, If I use tap-a-talk it's a little different and that I almost exclusively check on my subscriptions tab first.
And then it depends on whether I'm there for a purpose or just checking out what's new. Has somebody that likes to make my own gear I LOVE seeing what people have done in the past

I click on "New Posts". Read what I wish. Once I'm done reading this forum and before I move on to something else, I click the "Mark all Forums Read". That way, next time I'm on, I'm only seeing items that have new stuff since I was last on. If it's only been a few hours, there might only be 15 threads either new or with new posts in them. If it is a few days because I went hiking or was just to busy, then there might be 2 or 3 pages. It presents them from most recent, to oldest.
I use this method on every forum I visit.

When I visit, my browser defaults to the Settings page. So I can start with PMs, and threads I have subscribed to.
From there I usually go to the Donation Members section.
Then to specific sub forums.
And last stop is New Posts.
