I have a 40° loco libre ghost pepper on order to go with the 40° phoenix and I will have the sit pad with me anyways so it sounds like I should be ok

I have a 3/4 20degree and it covers almost all of me. I'm 5'3".

At your height, ¾ length UQ is almost of not complete full length for you. 5 ft is a feature, not a bug.
In order to see what few have seen, you must go where few have gone. And DO what few have done.
went an set it up for the first time in my yard just now and it does cover from my shoulders to my heel but i probably need to adjust it a little better and I lay at a pretty steep angle also. don't think I will need the sit pad unless I go below 40° with it

My rule of thumb is to never use my HG 20* 3/4 Phoenix below 30* F. I know I don't need a sit pad for 30* weather. I like to follow the 10* buffer rule (make sure your insulation is rated at least 10* warmer than the expected temps).
If the forecast calls for something below 30* F, I'm gonna bring my HG full-length 0* Incubator.

I just throw my jacket / coat down to the foot end and place my feet on that. Used it down to 9 degrees.
I am still 18 but with 52 years of experience !
Yes, I have the egg carton style foam sit pad but can never get it to stay put while using my 3/4 three season jarbidge down to single digits. I do as others, stuff a coat down there so it is warm in morning. I am 5'9"
