When I back flush sawyer mini filter with very warm water, forcefully
    Then front flush it2
Then backflush again back to original flow
Then backflush and front flush with air

Not sure if this is any good
I don’t use anything but water and air
Air in hopes of draining most water that’s gonna sit inside and breed germs?

Sanitizers probably work best. I don’t like smell of most of those products
And germs breed best in a moist environment

When I backflushed and front flushed with air, quite a bit of water squirted out

Great job PG. Glad you made out safe. Every trip out I get better at what to carry. Made a resolution to go out at least one night every month this year.

Great job getting in and out, safe and sound!

Sounds like you learned some valuable lessons. Those learned on the trail are the ones that stick with you because they came by way of actual experience, and you had to live with the consequences whether positive or negative.
