I love this jacket. Purchased in 2012 and used approximately 5 times a year. Always hung up in our climate/humidity controlled gear closet and cleaned per manufacturers specs. No stains, very lightly used - looks like it did on the shelf at REI. New was over $400, I think $150 based on current market offerings in this price range is fair for a jacket of this quality, durability, and warmth.

Kept me warm down to -5 degrees, quite literally feels like wearing a down sleeping bag that also keeps out wind. VERY comfortable and light and the build quality is what I expect from MHW. I have several friends that are climbers and spend much more time winter camping than I do. I bought it on their recommendation - those guys are going on 8 years of hard use with their jackets. Was gifted a jacket that fits me better for the holidays this year (I wear a medium). Would make a fantastic gift and I can certainly try to ship quickly enough to get it there before the holidays.

You mentioned you’re a medium... what is your height/weight and how is the fit? I’m an “extra medium”, so depending on brand/model, sometimes I’m a medium, sometimes a large.

This fits true to size as a large. Someone that wears medium could wear a sweatshirt comfortably under this jacket.
