I enjoyed the latest video on her hammock gear.
Solid choices of the Warbonnet gear for hammock, tarp, UQ, etc based on her requirements (one vendor for all gear and lightweight).

As to whether she ends up liking it more than her ground gear... who really cares. I always appreciated how Shug has handled this.. as long as folks are getting out the woods.. it’s all good.

Yeah, it was a good video. It seems like she will be much better prepared this time around. Plus now she has thousands of miles of hiking under her belt so she will have her routine and her other gear dialed in, which will make it easier to try something new.

Single vendor is definitely the way to go when you are starting out. Makes things so much easier. When asked for hammocking advice from a former co-worker I suggested he check out Warbonnet for exactly this reason. Plus, you can't go wrong with Warbonnet!

    Dixie impresses me.
    I appreciate her grit.
    She is trying something new....again.
Its hard to come up with content every Wednesday so I am sure she thought this new experience would also be good for her channel.
I wish her well and hope she gets over the fiddle factor.

I was really impressed when she got straight back on the AT after her dog died. That must have been tough.

Yeah, I admire people who mix things up. It's easy to stay in your comfort zone. I guess you don't become a Triple Crowner by staying in your comfort zone though!

you know it must be nice to know everything about hammocks from birth like some people here act like they have.
they forget that most people start out not knowing much about hammocks

It would be a great thing I think as the unofficial ambassador of hammock camping if you offered a shakedown hike with her to help her...it would not only immensely help her in her quest to try it, but it would be great video for both your channels...I for one follow both of you and would appreciate that video...but I digress just my wish for watching my favorite you tubers
