Many good options above, but I didn't read them all! These are quick too:

I assume you're like me, your hands get cold easily and warming them up can be difficult. I've taken a tiny rechargeable handwarmer on a few trips for quick re-warming....Ahhhhhhh

Certainly a viable option. I've never tried an electric handwarmer before, but have used fuel hand warmers extensively and wouldn't be without in freezing temps. Actualy, just picked up a few more for stocking stuffers when Amazon was running a deal for just just uner 9 bones a pop.

These work ok as the down seems to compress and you definitely do not want to get them wet.

I like the Hot Hand line of gloves as they have the pouch for a Hot Hands patch and they are typically good gloves for the money.

Keeping your core warm is important for keeping extremities warm.
I like to use a light set of contact gloves with good dexterity and put a beefier pair over them.
But pretty much if I need the dexterity I just have my puffy gloves, pull them off, do the chore put them back on.

If you raise them and start when they're young, they'll sit in your lap like a little doggie. They love to be brushed.

The rancher said they use the fence posts for scratch posts, then clean the "down" before its turned into yarn.
I've read that some place collector devices that help hold it on the scratch posts.

That's why I thought BISON DOWN was so appealing.
The warmth of goose down with the ruggedness of a cow!

I work outside as a land surveyor and have tried many options and have found these work best for me. You can put a hand warmer in the mitten part or wear thin liners under them.

Plus they’re durable and cheap. I’ve been using a single pair for the last 4 winters or so. Finally just replaced them for $12.

    T09...kg,

    I am impressed.
4 Seasons and you still have BOTH of them.
They usually end up separated or divorced by then.
    Kinda like socks.
