Difference between Bandit quilt foot boxes.

Is the flat sewn foot box just as insulated as the insulated foot box?

Also is the flat sewn any wider than the insulated if both quilts have full taper?

I can’t find in that video where he answers the OP question: Is the sewn just as insulated as the fully insulated?

No. The straight sewn has sewn through areas where the quilt body was brought together and sewn. The fully insulated option is boxed-baffled like the rest of the quilt.

The fully insulated box will be shaped more like a bucket bottom and the sewn-through box will be shaped more like a ziplock bag bottom. So as far as roominess goes, the sewn through will be somewhere between the convertible drawstring box and the fully insulated box. And it should fall into the same place as far as warmth retention as well.
