I thought about buying a Lite AF pack to save a pound

LOL!!! I've seen it a hundred times but I just now realized what the AF stands for. Man, I'm dense sometimes!!!

I was tempted, esp with the 20% off on the Chameleon. In the end, I just got a spare set of 15' spider poly straps and a peak shelf for my Half Zipped.

I only have one tarp, a silpoly WB Thunderfly (other than my Amazon beginner gear). I was also tempted to pick up a Mini Fly, but then I started thinking it's maybe time for dyneema. Frozen had a new video out with a prototype tarp from LiteAF that looks promising. It's wider than the HG std w/doors but less than the HG Winter Palace.

Haha. I didn't pick up on AF for awhile. That tarp does look awesome. I have the HG standard with doors. Once you go Dyneema, you don't go back. After I say I am done, I see Superior Wilderness Designs has a cheaper frameless DCF. Maybe pick it up a little down the road.

I tried to buy a Superfly and failed (actually succeeded in buying the wrong one and had to cancel my order). Looking at a couple cheaper options until I can catch a good tarp on sale or have enough mad money I can justify paying full price.
