DIY Tato Stands now available at Dutchware

We have a special treat for you. We have DIY Tato stand that you can make your own stand with just six 1 inch EMT and 2 pieces of chain link top rail. The kit provides the hub and connection points along with the safety straps to make a professional stand. These hubs are well machined and come with a continuous loop and a special biner to connect your hammock suspension. These are made by Tato and of course Made in the USA.

And Where do you get the Rail and Leg Extension Plug. I do not see it on Dutch's site or on Tato's site

Mine is 2 years old and I love this contraption. The 1" EMT conduit is about $11 per 10 foot section and I cut my legs 6 feet long. I can't imagine needing leg extensions as 6 foot legs is more than enough height. So for about $70 for the pipe work you should be set. The only extension that came with mine is the top rail extension. For my Warbonnet RidgeRunner I use 13 ft of pipe, for my gathered end hammocks I use 12 ft. The excess cut from the 10 foot pieces is what I use for the top rail but apparently the new model of this has a larger top rail. I spray painted mine brown after completion.

I have been seriously considering this but I was most interested in the Tato stand to double hang with my wife. I am not sure if the EMT conduit in this DIY will provide enough strength or integrity to do that.

I have a tensa 4 that I love. But my wife and I have a double dutch bugnet and I wanted us to be able to use it with a stand.

If this is a horrible idea and I just need to admit the double dutch is only useful with trees that is still helpful information for me and my wife.

I have one nice 12 foot tarp and I need to decide what kind of stand to get so I know if I need a larger tarp to double hang under. I want to know if I need one big tarp or 2 separate tarps for two separate stands.
