Hello, I'm Pete and I'm sort of new here. From the information gleaned from this forum I decided to buy from different vendors that were recommended by these forums. Here's some details...
In the spirit of spreading the love I tried to order my gear from several different cottage vendors. Blackbird XLC double layer and Super Fly silpoly from Warbonnet. Top quilt is an economy burrow from Hammock Gear. Underquilt is a Mt. Washington 3 courtesy of Jacks R Better. DutchWare provided the tree straps, toggles for marlin spike hitch, and 1/8th whoopie slings with dutch-biners for the hammock, 1.75 mm UHMWPE for tie outs and tarp ridge-line (they no longer carry this for some reason), and a couple titanium wasps for the tarp ridge-line. A bear pillow and some water filtration parts from Arrowhead. A very nice Ohm backpack from ULA. Some stakes and stuff sacks from Zpacks.
ALL of these vendors were a pleasure to deal with and the equipment I received from them was excellent quality.
