I just envision the bug net catching all my breath making things even worse. Just one breath creates a massive cloud, I can't imagine 8000 breaths over the course of the night.

But you're right, it's something easy I need to try to eliminate one more thing.

Net gives you a warm climate. Any condensation will be when that Warm climate touched the cold air Which is way away from you. Without the exterior climate around you you bring that cold climate in on top of you. A net allows moisture to also leave your climate unlike a solid sock. Worth trying.

Bugnet still allows a breeze to come through but about 40% less so to me it’s just enough protection to make unzipping noticeably cooler temp and I enjoy the bump down in cool air across my exposed face.

Fleece blanket over the TQ = still damp but not terrible. I was in my hot tent again this time (I don't burn all night). Lows around 25° from about 32° at bed time.

Still can't bring myself to use the bugnet but I'll try next trip. Car camping, so I can easily play around with different ideas.

Was the top surface of the fleece blanket damp, or just the TQ in the usual spots?

Just the top quilt. Damp foot box all over and rest of the top.

I was warm, not wet inside but I could feel a big hit in loft. I dried it by the stove and went back to bed since it was early...I'll let you finish that

I don’t think the down is getting wet. If so I don’t think you could have dried it that quickly. It may just be a sensation of dampness. Maybe get some pictures?

So, then, the moisture must be coming from you?
