I will be down by the pond Friday afternoon until Sunday afternoon. need some time in the woods.
The only Easy day was yesterday.
I will be visiting family in the Bedford-Mitchell area next weekend and could probably sneak away for an overnight hang at Deam on the 29th or 30th. I'll keep an eye on this thread for more details.Originally Posted by Mescript

It's a possibility. Definitely not going to be shopping, but waiting to see what concrete plans for the holiday are (we are not a long-range planning family).

Rain or shine? Terrill pond? I'm okay with rain but looks like non-stop rain from Friday afternoon thru Sunday. I'm kinda hem and hawing at this point depending on the winds.
Was there Friday night, in the rain, all day Saturday, in the rain...left Sunday mid morning.. Had a great time, read a lot, drank a lot of coffee, and tea, and relaxed.
YEs was a Terrill pond....
Next time, maybe we can meet up.
Oh, I do plan on being back over there the weekend after Christmas. Rain, snow, or sun....

My son and I went out this weekend to the pond, it was fantastic. I think he got a bit homesick so ended up cutting out a day early.
Ahh yes, been there a few times, my oldest son a few times wanted to go home after a night of no bed or tv...this was many years ago. Now loves it, I have to tell him "lets go home" now.
