I suppose this should have been my first post. Hi, I'm Chris from suburban Denver. Looking forward to getting into hammock camping as, while I love being in a tent (I have a Tarptent Cloudburst 3), I never sleep that well through the night. I do a decent amount of backpacking but also a fair amount of car camping at 14er trailheads (I'm up to 18 of the official 54). I already bought my RidgeRunner through this forum and am actively looking at a lot of DIY stuff for my first set of gear. While that might be biting off more than I can chew, that's normally how I tend to roll. Thanks for all of the knowledge that I've already gained from reading through the forums as well as watching the various YouTube videos from the "elders" of the forums. I look forward to learning more and ideally some day giving back once I've learned enough to be dangerous.
