Its a good day to be out in the woods no matter the weather.Mist One..
I made a double that converts to a triple. I have taken the double to the low thirties with no problem. However, I usually use a Jacks r Better fleece topquilt liner too because I like fleece.
I have taken the triple down to near zero. I usually wear a baselayer and good socks when its cold. In my experience, it is mostly about the underquilt. If your UQ is warm you can push the topquilt. If your UQ is not adeqate, you are done for.
Good info I have a 10° under quilt by Hammock gear I guess it’s all about layers and base layersThe only problem I have in the winter is my feet get cold

Yes, so I was out for three days this week. The first two nights were down to 10 degrees. My feet didn't get seriously cold, but I did get worried a bit that they wouldn't warm up enough after getting into the hammock from a pee break or two. However, with the three layer I slept very well both nights.
The third night was 30 degrees and I was super warm with the setup. I would have been fine with a 2 layer. I think some down booties would be a great add to extend the temp range of the costco top quilts
