    When is it too Wide

    Just finishing up a Monster Hammock;

    **140" in Length
    **94.5" in width

    By far the widest I have attempted
    1.7 (blue) and 1.3 MNT (black)

    Any thoughts or guesses as to how this will feel? And any suggestions on threading in connection for suspension & RL?

    Can I ask what the motivation or end goal was to do this project?

    As long as you’re comfortable what else matters I think the widest Hammock I have made was 60 inches but I need to go widerTo get a more flat lay
    Its a good day to be out in the woods no matter the weather.Mist One..

    Probably going to throw in some continuous loops on the ends made of 2.2 mm Yellow or Grey Zingit and then a continuous ridge line of same materials - Poly straps and Marlin Spike Hitch.

    That is unless somebody else knows a little more about a whipped gathered end hammocks and their ideal suspension/ connection s. I've never done them until this one.

    There's no ideal. Just larkshead a loop behind the whipping and tie into that however you want.

    Not sure how much weight will be in the hammock, but you might want something stronger for your continuous loops/suspension.

    I've put about 400lbs into a hammock with 1.75mm Lash-it whoopies. 2.25mm should hold him. I'm not sure about the hammock but it'll definitely hold him lol.

    I do believe that is the largest hammock I have ever seen. A congratulations is in order! I should have started with that

    Have you considered finishing the ends up with sewn channels? I really feel like that would open up a lot more possibilities for your suspension and ridgeline.
