See above. Zoom in on the photo of the doors and look at the stitching and the hems/edges. Even in a low-rez photo it screams crap.

Hey, no offense, and buy what you want, but you've been warned.

Southerners are well familiar with the phrase "pig in a poke" and it applies here.

I look at photos for a living, but can you point out what you're seeing? BPW does have a reputation of doing really shoddy work. Someone over in r/ultralight was saying things are good now however. Who knows when this guy had it made though.

In this thread actually. Several people backing him up https://www.reddit.com/r/Ultralight/...e_from_little/

This section... edge stitching is not even, hem is not finished, lapped unevenly, and what's the little patch below the door loops??

Personally, I would suggest purchasing from one of the reliable vendors.

I will say that when I first saw it and who made it I looked at it skeptically, but I'm not necessarily seeing what you're seeing, which is fine. That patch like thing could be a BPWD tag. Who knows? I bet we could get higher resolution photos. I'll ask. It's 13 oz, so way too much weight for me, but that's a lot of Dyneema for $300.

That tarp looks interesting but if I'm going to spend a couple hundred bucks, I'd rather go with the proven quality of HG or Dutch. It's a very cool design though!

Have you used the Hammock Gear hex tarp with linelocs?

You could also do what I did. Just add these little guys to your tarp. Larks head them on.
