In Indiana I saw a bunch of something flying high overhead. Can't really see them but does anyone know what these are? Didn't sound like the usual geese...or do they make different kinds of sounds?

Yep. Sandhill cranes are migrating. I love hearing them and trying to find where they are...which is usually way higher up than you expect. They are loud buggers.
