Thanks Banana, I'll just tell you what I have and we can go from there. I have tarps that can be turned into 'winter' mode if necessary. I have 3/4 Jarbridge ~40d UQ | a PLUG that I will be using as a UQ cover, this will actually cover the majority of the bridge and keeps the UQ snug against the bottom, at least that's the plan | a 20d overstuffed TQ which will be over a thinner fiber fill sleeping bag. Along with long johns, etc. I've been down to the upper 20's with this gear, just not in the bridge, and was fine. But if the temps get REAL cold, this gear will not make it. So if am able to come, I will let you know for sure in the coming weeks, any extra warmer quilts would be useful. I'm guessing more of the UQ, but an additional TQ for real cold temps may come in handy.

Thanks for the offer & willingness to share

I’m reading this as I lay in a big guy myself. It’s not the warmest of hammocks but I’ve definitely had down to the 20’s with no issue. Bringing it to -5 sounds like a fun challenge I have access to some of the 25* jarbidges that could stack friendly enough on yours without creating weird gaps or crushing insulation because they are just simple rectangles. I have a DIY synthetic that fists nicely around the bottom as your PLUQ might but I have a feeling we could even go overkill with it all. I also have a very wide TQ that could envelope the ones you already stack. You may have to vent, lol

I may be attending this, depending on work schedule and weather. Have a friend in Chicago that will come with me.

At the very least I'll have a couple 40° phoenix UQ's for people to use. Stacked with a 20° those should get most anybody, except kattdogg of course, to around 0°.
