Planning a spring hike with wife on Superior Hiking Trail using my double hammock setup, with the double hooks from Dutchware. We are headed for Crosby Manitou State Park and beyond. I am wondering with the setup if both hammocks have to be the exact same length? Syntax77 had a video on that setup but my wife's hammock is four inches shorter. Are we doomed? I don't think it should matter, assuming you're using just 1 spreader bar (at the head end). Try to make it so the head end suspensions of the two hammocks are equal length (distance from the tree), and the foot end suspension on the shorter hammock will just be a little longer.
