Sorry I had to bug out so early but I had a lot of things I had to do this afternoon. it was also nice meeting all the people that showed up and helped out, I think a fun time was had by all, if you can call snow bombs at zero dark thirty fun.

I wanted to drop this post and throw a HUGE shout out of thanks to all of the folks who helped me out this weekend.
Between forgetting my UQ, then getting my car stuck in the only snow bank in the parking lot, it was certainly not one of my finest moments...
To Maz and Co. who all went way over and above to get me unstuck.
You guys are awesome!
Will definitely be there next year.
Look forward to actually getting to know you guys.
Again, thank you!
Me too ....me too.....
Thank again for everyone that came out and made this hang happen.
The temps were good but could have been colder..... But hey we will take the 4+ feet of snow anytime!!!! My WB Superfly took a snowbomb right before I could get it down....the force of it hitting unrolled the split ring and pulled the s-biner bends ....straight....this is the second time that mother nature has damaged my tarp's hardware but not the tarp....LOVE my 10 year old Superfly!!!!!
Thanks again for everyone coming out and making this hang happen....Even in the cold of winter it's easy to stay toasty with so many warm hearts around you!!!!! See y'all next year!!!!!

This weekend was certainly a Tarp Challenge for many... for those who asked where I picked up the spool of bank line, here you are.
My Hammockgear Journey took quite a few snow hits, including a massive snow drop around 3:30am Sunday. Thankfully I’d secured the Beasty-Ds from the ridgeline to the trees after a Saturday hit slid the ridgeline prussiks together and was able to go back to sleep and stay dry. Kudos to HG for the tarp!
Prussik slippage happened to a few others, too, along with some cordage breaks, hardware bends, etc. Maztrain’s huge group tarp made it until Saturday morning when the support poles bent.
This hang was well wortj the drive, see you next year! (And thanks for the potluck!!!)
