I guess I am not keeping up with Warbonnet, I am not aware they have a XL RR.

I made little guards like 2QZQ offers to protect the hammock. I like the big door on the screen.

I also use the Spindrift with a bit of bug net over the door(s) if the insects are out. I am able to use the Spindrift with door(s) open and screen.

The previous XL comment was referring to the XL size of Travel Net, not the Ridgerunner.

The net comes in regular size for 10' hammocks and XL for 11' hammocks.

    Thanks for the reply!

Yar, it's a double whammie actually in this case as the Ridgerunner doesn't use a ridgeline so the variations in the pitch on the RR are much wider than with other bridges as a result.

So what is tough is that what works on one RR may not work on another due to the way you personally like to hang yours since the dogbones will be at a different elevation (relative to the bridge) on each setup.

My net goes over the dogbones and the RL keeps that intersection in the same spot. Even though the RL is adjustable, there is enough play designed into the bug net to account for that.
If you fed that net over your RR though- odds are good you'd rip it apart since the dogbones are not in a fixed positon.

Made a bugnet for my Grizz Bridge. Not too hard.
    It is effective.

Thanks for pointing me to the video. I don't know how I missed that one after spending hours looking at others

I like the design. I'm used to my WB Blackbird ridgeline. Do you think it would work to modify your design slightly and put the ridgeline on the inside to hang an organizer and such on?

    I appreciate your help.

If you just need some protection, you can run a ridge line on your RR from apex point to apex point. Then you can use a "half net" like a HUG and connect it to that ridge line to lift it off your face. Pretty simple. But if it were really mosquito country - like swarms - I'd want full enclosure.
In order to see what few have seen, you must go where few have gone. And DO what few have done.
