    Dyneema availability in Australia

    Hi All,

I'm relatively new to the hanging world, starting this year with a super cheap hammock bought off amazon, but I'm already hooked. My family was camping all the time while I was growing up and have always had a love for it apart from the bulk required to get a good night's sleep which has been solved by discovering this community. It's all fired up a desire to get some decent kit together, but shipping and conversion prices make things a little prohibitive here in Australia so I'm looking to the DIY world to get around this.

Does anyone have any tips for sourcing Dyneema rope hopefully locally (SE Queensland) or if not, from an Australian source?

    Cheers

Rope galore carries Dyneema, traditional colour blue grey many gauges to choose from, the same goes with shock cord.

From memory, l purchased in pre meter lengths by the reel but they may give you an option to cut lenghts by request.
