Well...... been to a lotta hangs but this was the best. Purdy boils, knock-knock jokes, wild jugglers from
Minnesota, a visit from the Maple King, great companionship and food, food, food.
PG, you out did yourself.
Thanks to all who came and made it such a great time.

As always great to see everyone! Thank you Phantom, thank you to Pappy for the griddle tutorial and thanks to Moose and Ground Hog for the gear advice. Nice getting to meet those old codgers that setup way back in the woods. Of course the biggest thrill was meeting that hiking and hammockin YouTube star......

Again, Great Hang. Thank you, to everyone involved. PG you did a great job! Thanks to everyone for the tips and encouragement to my children. They really enjoyed themselves. Its people like you all that reminds me that there is always hope for the inhabitants of this huge ball of wilderness we call earth. I hope to see you all again soon in the "piney woods" where all the problems of life can be forgotten, and you learn just how small those problems are.

Shug shared shortbread at the hang from his mommas recipe. I gotta admit I couldn’t get enough. Felt a wee bit guilty going back for seconds (and maybe thirds...and that’s all I’m going to admit to).

He mentioned he had a video on making the shortbread which I found on his YT channel.

So shortbread Shug, thanks for making and sharing Philomena’s recipe with all of us (and hopefully I remembered and spelled her name right). Seems like a good one to try making in the upcoming holidays.
