It's funny you should say that but I'm going to be testing my gear out in my backyard tonight. Got a low of 6* and I've got an underground quilts Zeppelin 0* that we're going to be given the old run through - I've had her out to test her but nothing close to what she's rated at should be fun.Originally Posted by BillyBob58

Keep this "stuff" out your way. We've yet to have a frost but it looks like that's coming this weekend. Some excellent hiking weather is heading our way this weekend. Highs in the 50's, lows in the 30's.

It was 7F at my house this morning. I wasn't able to sleep out last night, but I really did want to. I promise!
The forecasted low for the weekend is all the way up to 30F. Not quite as exciting, but still. I think I will get out in the backyard Friday night at least.
It's great seeing our HF members already getting into snow season! Here in Michigan we have a chance of it this weekend, so I'm planning on enjoying it in the backyard.
