    Hello from Louisiana

Hello everyone, long time reader, first time poster here from south Louisiana. While not new to hammock camping I am always looking to learn new tricks and techniques. My main setup is a Clark NX-270 (RIP) and Warbonnet superfly with ENO atlas XL straps. I was wondering if anyone knew of any hangs coming up in the area?

Bienvenue, from Lafayette! There is usually a Louisiana hang in the spring, it often falls between Mardi Gras and Easter.

You could always list an impromptu hang soon. I kinda wish there was a fall group hang around here, since this is my more flexible time of the year. Where do you normally hang?

Hello from the MS gulf coast and welcome! We are talking about a hang soon at Airey Lake which is about 45 miles from Slidell as the crow flies. Would that be too far for you?

Hello from a South Louisiana native (Baton Rouge) recently displaced in North Louisiana!! I’ve been looking for a local hang and there is a group hang in Arkansas in December. Details are in the Group Hangs Southeast section (URL Below)!! Welcome!!

Generally, I usually hang at the Bethel atv trailhead in Desoto, it is nice and quiet there. If I am not hanging there I am backpacking the black creek trail. I just saw the thread about Airey Lake today but unfortunately, I am working.
