So I checked my syllabi today and have three finals papers due between the 3rd and the fifth. So I think I'm out unless I finish some ahead of time. I'm shooting for the winter hang. I definitely need to get outside-- the city is grinding me down.

Plus my coffee connection is a little less stable than once before.

I hit up Booskerdoo twice a year for free coffee (Loco Libre Hang in early November and NJ Winter Hang in late January), but I don't think I've ever solicited donations for the Thanksgiving Hang. Asking for free coffee on two hangs is about my limit.

We've always purchased coffee for the Thanksgiving hang, not looked for donations.

I've got a full bag left that I'm bringing, so I think we're good on that front.

You coming, or do you have family commitments?

Wish I could join but family committments. Was there this past Saturday, paddled with a few friends and camped out at site 2. 3 tenters and I hung my Ridge Runner, but same results as previous times, to confining for my tossing and turning style. This paddle was a breeze comparred to the blow downs and strainers clogging up the Mullica in the Spring. Love the Pine Barrens of the Mullica, wood did burn fast because of afternoon winds, then it slowed down. Hope to get back there soon. Have fun.

Next week at this point, we'll already have woken up in the woods after a chilly night's sleep!

Still working out the logistics for dropping some basic supplies, and figured out where we'll be walking in from. For anyone who's coming along, where are you planning to start?

I'll have a coffee press and coffee, a jet boil for boiling water, and some basic cooking supplies. I'll also bring an axe and bow saw.

Other than that, bring your own gear and food. This one's gonna be real low key

Definite,Possible, Maybe for Saturday nite. Family leaving early Saturday morning so that eliminates the “Grandkids” excuse.

Finally got the all clear from work so I'm in! Starting from Atsion and looking forward to low key. I can likely help out with gear if necessary.
